Thursday - November 13, 2014 11:01 AM
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities provides guidance on the application procedures for receiving financial support under the regulations on tuition fee support for ethnic minority students studying at higher education institutions. Eligible recipients are ethnic minority students from poor and near-poor households as defined by the State, who have been admitted to the university through the entrance examination.

Documents required for receiving financial assistance for tuition fees include:

+ Application for financial assistance for tuition fees (Download here)

+ Certificate of poverty or near-poverty status issued by the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or town (notarized copy)

+ Birth certificate (notarized copy)

The deadline for submitting applications is November 25, 2014.

* Note:

- Students who are eligible for government-sponsored scholarships, those selected through selection processes, those enrolled in programs tailored to specific needs, those pursuing articulation programs, those pursuing second degrees, and those studying at universities or colleges after completing a preparatory university program are not eligible for tuition fee support under this decision.

- Certified copies of poverty/near-poverty certificates and birth certificates, not older than 6 months from the date of application.

We request that the Deans of Faculties and Departments disseminate this announcement to each class and guide full-time students on the relevant procedures.
