Admission to the Master of Applied Journalism program

The Institute of Journalism and Communication is the ONLY place currently offering the MASTER OF JOURNALISTRY APPLICATION-ORIENTED program, trained locally.

FOR ALL COLLEGE GRADUATES, IN ALL FIELDS OF EDUCATION (*)

In 2019, the Master of Applied Journalism program will enroll and organize training in HANOI, DA NANG, BINH DUONG, and VINH LONG.
Entrance exam and study location:
In Hanoi: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU
In Da Nang: American University in Vietnam (AUV, Da Nang)
In Binh Duong: Binh Duong University, Binh Duong province
In Vinh Long: Cuu Long University, Vinh Long province

Training time:18-24 months (including thesis time). Study on weekends.

The program focuses on key issues of interest to the press such as: Development trends of modern journalism, Convergence and multimedia communication, Journalism and media economics, Social media communication, Data journalism, Legal and ethical issues in the context of digital communication, Specialized communication skills on: politics, economics, cultural and social issues...
The program provides good support for reporters and press editors to improve their professional skills in the context of multimedia communications, as well as improve the capacity of press and media management for the team of leaders and managers.

(*) Candidates who do not have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism need to take a 2-month transition course to qualify for the Master's exam.
