RECRUITMENT OPEN FOR THE "JOURNALISM AND MEDIA PROFESSIONAL SKILLS" COURSE

The course is scheduled to start in August 2022.
Learning format: In-person classes at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
1. Target audience of the course
- Students currently studying or who have graduated from university or college and wish to work in the field of journalism and media.
- Individuals working in the field of journalism and media but lacking a relevant degree need to obtain professional certifications to complete their application for recruitment/promotion to civil servant positions.
- Anyone interested in or passionate about journalism and media.
2. Training Program
- Equip yourself with a foundational knowledge system of modern journalism and media.
- Developing operational skills in the field of journalism: finding topics, conducting interviews, processing information, organizing work, editing skills, etc.
- Working on basic journalistic genres: news, interviews, feature stories.
- Creating multimedia journalistic works
- The training is provided by lecturers from the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, as well as experienced journalists and reporters.
- Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to work on publishing journalistic works as required.  
3. Certificates:
- Vietnamese-English certificate issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), meeting the requirements for the job titles of reporter and editor as stipulated in Circular 11/2016/TTLT- Ministry of Information and Communications - Ministry of Home Affairs.
4. Study time:
- Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for 8 weeks.
5. Tuition fees:
- 2,500,000 VND/student
- Students currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities receive a 10% tuition fee reduction, bringing the fee down to 2,250,000 VND.
