Ussh's Got talent 2018

I. Purpose

- Search for student talents in many fields: music, dance, magic...

- Help students, especially new students, have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents, integrate into the university environment, make friends, and connect with other student groups.

- Help students assess their potential for development, giving them motivation and confidence to participate in larger playgrounds.

II. Program content

1. Registration:

- Registration subject: Students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

- Registration form: Individual performance or group performance.

- Type of registered performance: Music (singing, playing musical instruments, etc.); variety show (comedy, magic, circus, traditional art, etc.), expressing passion, confidence and dreams.

● Register Online:

+) Register according to the instructions on the program's Fanpage
+) Registration deadline: August 20, 2018 – September 7, 2018.

● Register directly:

+) Submit registration form at the Youth Union Office – HSV (E104): August 20, 2018 - September 7, 2018.

+) Submit directly to the organizing committee at the Audition round location: September 10, 2018 - September 12, 2018.

2. Audition Round:

- Time: 17:00 - 21:00 from September 10, 2018 to September 12, 2018.

- Location: G105 & G106(Expected)

Rules:

● Candidates come to the registration location and receive their SBD at the Organizing Committee's desk.

● Candidates perform their acts in the order of the received candidate numbers.

● The Organizing Committee will select qualified performances to enter the next round.

● Results are announced immediately after candidates complete the exam.

2. Rank Round:

- Time: 15:00 – 21:00 September 14, 2018.

- Location: Hall, 8th floor, building E.

Rules:

● Candidates come to the registration location and at the Organizing Committee's desk.

● Contestants perform in the order of registration, keeping the same entry number received from the previous round.

● Selected candidates will perform their completed performance from the Audition round.

● The judges directly monitor, score according to the program's criteria and select the Top 10 best performances.

- The top 10 best performances will be announced on the program's Fanpage on September 15, 2018.

3. Final Round:

- Location: E Stadium

- Time: September 22, 2018

● K63 Welcome Party

- Time: From 18:30 - 21:00

- Content: Welcome party for new students, open to all students with desserts, cultural exchange...

● USSH's Got Talent Final

- Time: From 19:30 - 21:00

- Top 10 best performances in order arranged by the Organizing Committee.

- The judges monitor and score according to the program's criteria.

4. Requirements for contest entries:

- Prepare your own costumes suitable for the performance.

- Prepare equipment and props related to the performance.

III/ Scoring criteria for the Rank round and final night:

Total score: 100 points

1/ Performance technique: 40 points

2/ Performance spirit: 30 points

3/ Content, meaning of the performance, expressing the theme: passion, confidence, dreams: 20 points

4/ Audience effect: 10 points
