II. Procedures for applying to master's degree programs.
Candidates applying for master's programs (either through direct admission or the 2024 admission method) at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities must register online and submit their application documents following these steps:
 1. Register online:
- Candidates need to access the online admissions registration portal at the following address:http://tssdh.vnu.edu.vnand follow the instructions. Candidates who have registered accounts in previous admission periods and have not yet enrolled at any unit within VNU can use their existing accounts to register for admission in 2024. Candidates must commit to and be responsible for the accuracy of the information they declare.
2. Candidates must fill out the form via the Google form link (mandatory):

II. Application Procedures
1. Register online:
- Candidates access the VNU postgraduate admissions registration portal and register online according to the instructions at the following address:http://tssdh.vnu.edu.vn.
- Candidates must commit to and be responsible for the accuracy of the information they declare.
2. Application submission procedure:
   The doctoral application dossier includes:
- Application form(printed from the exam registration portal)
- A self-written resume with confirmation from the managing agency or local government where the applicant resides, with a photograph attached and a seal affixed to the photograph.
- Valid copies of diplomas, certificates, and evidence of professional qualifications, foreign language skills, scientific research experience, and work experience as required, specifically:
+ Certified copies of the university diploma and transcript with the classification certified by the competent authority (for applicants for doctoral programs who do not yet have a master's degree); certified copies of the master's degree and transcript (for applicants for doctoral programs who already have a master's degree). Applicants with degrees awarded by foreign educational institutions must also provide confirmation from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.
+ Certified copy of proof of foreign language proficiency (If the candidate has a degree obtained from abroad, a confirmation document from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training is required)
+ Copies of research works published within the 36 months prior to the application date, including: articles in specialized scientific journals or one scientific report published in the proceedings of national or international peer-reviewed scientific conferences or seminars, with relevant ISBN publication numbers related to the research field or topic, and recognized by the professorship/associate professorship council of the discipline/interdisciplinary field.
+ Certified copy of the recruitment or appointment decision or long-term employment contract and certificate of seniority (if applicable to state officials/civil servants/public employees).
- Research outline(following the template).
- Letters of recommendation from at least one scientist(following the template).
- A letter of recommendation from the head of the managing agency for candidates who are civil servants or public employees.
- Scientific background(following the template).
*Candidates should prepare one complete set of professional documents and five photocopies.Submit at the Training Department (Room 206, Building E), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
- Documents sent via EMS will be processed based on the postmark date.
- Application deadlines: Phase 1: April 24, 2024; Phase 2: August 23, 2024.
The content of the message should clearly state:Candidate's full name; Examination registration code (issued after successful online registration); Doctoral application profile (clearly stating the training program for which the candidate is applying).

C. Study Plan
1. Enrollment period: 
Phase 1 is expected to take place around July 2024 and Phase 2 around November 2024.
2. Training duration:
- Standard duration of master's degree training: 2 years
- Standard duration of doctoral training:
+ For applicants with a master's degree: 3 years
+ For applicants with a bachelor's degree: 4 years
Successful applicants will be officially recognized as postgraduate students and doctoral candidates after completing the enrollment procedures.
D. ADMISSION FEES
1. Registration and application fees (No refunds upon withdrawal of application)
Candidates applying for direct admission pay the same fees as candidates applying for regular admission.
1.1 Master's degree application fee: 300,000 VND/candidate
1.2. Doctoral program application:
+ For Bachelor's degree holders: 500,000 VND/candidate
+ For Master's degree candidates: 260,000 VND/candidate
