I. SUBJECTS, CONDITIONS AND ADMISSION QUOTAS
1.1. Contestants
- Junior high school students graduating in 2024 nationwide and having good conduct for all 4 years of junior high school.
- Candidates must achieve an average score for the whole year: Math, Literature, Foreign Language of each year of grade 6, grade 7, grade 8 and an average score for the first semester of Math, Literature, Foreign Language of grade 9 from 7.0 or higher according to the general education program of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
Special cases will be considered and decided by the Admissions Council.
(The school will check the transcript when the successful candidate completes the admission procedures)
* Note: Each candidate can only register for 01 specialized class.
1.2. Conditions, methods and principles of admission
*Admission requirements
- Meet the conditions specified in section 1.1
- Specialized subject exam score is 6.00 or higher.
- Do not violate exam regulations from the level of suspension or higher.
* Admission methods and principles
- Ensure accuracy, fairness and objectivity.
- Candidates meet the conditions for admission and admission criteria.
- Consider the exam scores of each specialized subject from high to low until the quota of each specialized class is full on a 10-point scale.
- No bonus points in admission.
- Sub-criteria: In case many candidates have the same score at the end of the list, priority will be given to admission according to the following order of conditions:
1) Won a prize in the provincial or city-level excellent secondary school student competition, the subject won is the subject the candidate took the specialized exam (if there are many prize-winning candidates at the end of the list, the prizes will be considered from high to low).
2) Obtain an international English certificate valid for 2 years at the time of application deadline. IELTS Academic English certificate with a minimum score of 4.5 or higher, TOEFL ITP with a minimum score of 460 or higher, TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 45 or higher, calculated from high to low.

3) Total average score of all five Foreign Language subjects of grades 6, 7, 8 and average score of semester I of grade 9 from highest to lowest.

II. ADMISSION TO SPECIALIZED CLASSES
2.1. Application form
- Each candidate can register for one of three specialized classes (Literature, History, Geography). The registration file includes:
+ Exam registration form (Fill in information according to online form).
+ Copy of birth certificate (soft file in .pdf or .jpg format);
+ 4x6 portrait photo (soft file in .jpg format) (photo must be taken within 6 months, correct size, clear).
2.2. Admission fee
Registration and exam fee: 450,000 VND/1 application (submit online according to instructions of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, registration fee will not be refunded if you miss the exam).
2.3. Receive application documents
Application forms are declared and submitted online.from 15/04/2024 to 08/05/2024(The Admissions Council does not accept direct application forms.) The school will have specific announcements and registration instructions via the website (http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vn).
After completing the application, candidates will download the Exam Registration Form, attach a photo to the Exam Registration Form, and get confirmation from the secondary school they are attending. The Exam Registration Form must be brought to the exam room on the exam day.
2.4. View contest information
In order to support candidates with more information about their application documents, the University announces the list of candidates who have successfully registered for the exam (have submitted all application documents and exam fees) on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vn) at the end of each week during the online application period.
From 20/5/2024Candidates can view exam information (registration number, exam room, exam location and exam room regulations) on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vnThe school does not send exam notices.
2.5. Adjust contest information:Before 5:00 p.m. on May 25, 2024
If there is any error in personal information, candidates should notify the Admissions Council via hotline: 0862.155.299/0234.858.3957 (Office hours on weekdays, except holidays, Saturdays and Sundays) or contact directly at the Training Department, Room 105, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi for support.
2.6. Exam subjects and exam format
- Specialized subjects: Literature, History, Geography.
- Exam time: 150 minutes/subject.
- Exam score: exam score is calculated on a 10-point scale rounded to two decimal places.

2.8. Exam schedule: Sunday morning, June 2, 2024 




* Exam schedule may change due to force majeure.
 2.9. Announcement of exam results
Before June 28, 2024: Announce exam results and admission results for specialized classes on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
