Conference summarizing the work of Inspection, Legal Affairs and Dissemination of Law in 2020

Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of the University, along with 76 delegates representing the leadership of training units, functional departments, centers, the Youth Union - Student Association, the People's Inspection Committee, training assistants for various programs, student affairs and support assistants, and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union and the Youth Union of the University.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of the University, delivered a speech at the Conference.

Following Professor Hoang Anh Tuan's opening remarks, the Conference heard Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy, Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, present the draft Report summarizing the inspection and legal affairs work for the 2019-2020 academic year and the directions and tasks for the 2020-2021 academic year. The delegates offered many practical suggestions for the school's inspection and legal affairs activities during the past academic year and agreed with the directions and tasks for inspection and legal affairs work in the 2020-2021 academic year.

In the second part of the Legal Dissemination Conference, the speakers, who were leaders of the Training Department and the Organization and Personnel Department, briefly presented the highlights, adjustments, and changes of four new documents from the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Government regarding training and personnel organization: Regulations on the management of diplomas and certificates at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, issued with Decision No. 3086/QD-ĐHQGHN dated October 20, 2020; Circular No. 20/2020/TT-BGDDT dated July 27, 2020, stipulating the working regime of lecturers in higher education institutions; and Decree No. 90/2020/ND-CP dated August 23, 2020, on the evaluation and classification of the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Circular No. 40/2020/TT-BGDDT dated October 26, 2020, stipulates the codes, professional title standards, and salary scales for teaching staff. These are all documents directly related to the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of officials, employees, and workers.

In conclusion, the Conference unanimously agreed on the achievements of the legal inspection work during the past academic year. These results have contributed to strengthening discipline and order in all aspects of the School's operations. The delegates also emphasized the importance of disseminating new regulations. Heads of units need to clearly understand the innovative spirit of these regulations and ensure that staff within their units comply with the issued rules and regulations.
