Conference on Review of Inspection and Legal Affairs and Dissemination of Law in 2020

Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Principal of the School and 76 delegates representing leaders of training units, functional departments, centers, Youth Union - Student Association, People's Inspectorate, training assistants of all systems, assistants of CT & CTSV, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union, and the School's Youth Union.

After Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan gave the opening speech, the Conference listened to MSc. Nguyen Van Thuy - Head of the Department of Information and Communications presenting the draft Summary Report on Inspection and Legal Affairs for the 2019-2020 school year and the direction and tasks for the 2020-2021 school year. The delegates made many practical contributions to the inspection and legal affairs activities of the School in the past school year and agreed with the direction and tasks of inspection and legal affairs for the 2020-2021 school year.

In the second part of the Law Dissemination Conference, the reporters, who are leaders of the Training Department and the Organization and Personnel Department, briefly presented the highlights, adjustments and changes of 04 new documents of VNU, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Government on the field of training and personnel organization: Regulations on the management of diplomas and certificates at VNU issued together with Decision No. 3086/QD-VNU dated October 20, 2020; Circular No. 20/2020/TT-BGDDT dated July 27, 2020 on the working regime of lecturers at higher education institutions; Decree No. 90/2020/ND-CP dated August 23, 2020 on assessment and classification of the quality of cadres, civil servants and public employees; Circular No. 40/2020/TT-BGDDT dated October 26, 2020 Stipulating codes, professional title standards and salary scales for teaching staff. These are all documents directly related to the rights, obligations and responsibilities of cadres, civil servants and employees.

In conclusion, the Conference agreed on the results achieved in the legal inspection work in the past school year. These results have contributed to strengthening discipline and order in all aspects of the School's activities. Delegates also emphasized the importance of disseminating new documents. Heads of units need to clearly understand the spirit of innovation in the documents and thoroughly educate staff in the unit to properly implement the issued regulations and rules.
