Geography: A bit long, but… not difficult!

The C-block exams concluded with great enthusiasm from the candidates, as the Geography exam this morning was not as difficult as the History exam yesterday afternoon. This morning, at the exam centers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Phan Dinh Giot Secondary School, and the University of Water Resources, many candidates left the exam rooms by 9:30 AM. They said they did well, but only slightly above average. Twenty minutes before the end of the exam, cheerful faces began to appear, signaling a very positive morning of testing. Candidate Dinh Thi Hong, from Phu Tho province, shared: "The questions weren't too difficult, the only thing is that the exam was a bit long; if you didn't concentrate, you wouldn't have enough time." Le Minh Thuy, a student from Lam Son High School for the Gifted in Thanh Hoa, who is taking the entrance exam for the Faculty of Law (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), also affirmed that Geography was not difficult. However, according to Thuy, the exam was quite long: "I finished with about 20 minutes to spare, and there were no tricky or difficult questions, so I felt quite relaxed in the exam room." At the Phan Dinh Giot Secondary School exam center, candidate Lo Thi Hue, from Tuyen Quang, taking the exam for the Faculty of Management Science, said: "Yesterday I didn't do well on the History exam, but this morning the questions were relatively easy. The four questions were of similar difficulty, none were too difficult, and I did well on all four." Meanwhile, candidate Do Van Toan (from Lang Son), taking the History exam, expressed great confidence: "Generally, I did well on all three subjects, but History was the best. I believe I will pass!" This was the last exam, so many candidates were still diligently studying until the end hoping to "make up for lost points." Tran Thi Ngoc (Chu Van An High School – Hanoi) confided: “I didn’t do very well on the two subjects yesterday, but Geography this year is quite easy, so it’s a chance for me to make up for lost points. That’s why I sat through the entire exam to do my homework and review carefully to avoid any regrettable mistakes!” While the students were still diligently taking their final exam this morning, at this exam site, parents were already bringing all their luggage to accompany their children to the bus station to return home after the exam. A parent from Thach Thanh (Thanh Hoa) confided: “There are only the two of us, mother and daughter. This time, bringing her to the exam meant neglecting our farming work. Now, as soon as she finishes, we’ll go home to finish planting the remaining rice paddies before the water runs out.”
