The course was attended by 9 Chinese students from the Institute of Marxism, Nanning Normal University. Over three months (October 28, 2019 - January 28, 2020), the Chinese students studied the fundamental theories of Marxism and learned from the university's teaching experiences and methods in this subject. In addition to classroom lectures, they also participated in field trips to historical sites and scenic spots to learn about Vietnam and its people. Lecturers from the Philosophy Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were responsible for teaching throughout the course.

Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) delivered a speech.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan extended a warm welcome to the Chinese student delegation and stated that this course once again demonstrates the excellent cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and universities in Guangxi, China. On behalf of the University's leadership, the Vice Rector pledged to ensure the best possible conditions for the Chinese students in terms of learning environment, living arrangements, and field trips. He also wished them success in completing the course and cherishing their positive experiences in Vietnam over the next three months.

Associate Professor Dr. Ly Bao Van (Lecturer at the Institute of Marxism - Nanning Normal University) delivered a speech.
On behalf of the delegation, Associate Professor Dr. Ly Bao Van expressed his gratitude and honor at being able to study at a prestigious institution like the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He expressed his belief that the course would not only enhance the students' understanding and awareness of Marxism but also foster stronger friendship between the two sides. He hoped the course would serve as a bridge and a bond, helping the two universities promote deeper bilateral cooperation and exchange in many aspects.

Student Ren Minhui spoke on behalf of the Chinese students.
Representing Chinese students, Ren Minhui expressed his emotion at being able to live and study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and pledged to strive tirelessly to complete his course successfully. He also pledged to use this opportunity to contribute to fostering friendship between students from both sides in particular and between China and Vietnam in general.
