During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh emphasized that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a pioneering institution in Vietnam providing systematic and comprehensive training in information and information science. The University's Internet and Society Research Program (VPIS) was established to study the two-way relationship between the Internet and social life. From the 2019-2020 academic year, the University officially launched a high-quality Bachelor's program in Information Management to meet the demand for human resources in information management. Therefore, the University is ready to collaborate with Facebook on joint activities such as organizing workshops, seminars, and joint research on topics of mutual interest.

Speaking on behalf of Facebook Asia-Pacific, Ms. Beth Ann Lim stated that Facebook Asia-Pacific is currently implementing the "We Think Digital" project. Based on collaboration with experts and scholars across the region, the project aims to develop courses and training programs on topics related to digital technology and cyberspace, such as critical thinking, digital citizenship, and information literacy skills. Facebook Asia-Pacific highly values the reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and wishes to be a partner in the project.

Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his support and designated the Faculty of Information and Library Science as a participating unit in the aforementioned project. Initially, Facebook Asia-Pacific will organize training for faculty members of the Faculty to familiarize them with the content of "We Think Digital".
