Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan in a cooperation exchange with representatives of Xi'an University of Foreign Studies (China)
The 2019 Forum expanded its membership to nearly 40 universities from 20 countries: Japan, Korea, China, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Russia, Germany, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Morocco, Mexico, Chile, Peru. Delegates discussed and affirmed the importance of language training activities in the context of world higher education changing dramatically to keep up with the human resource requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, innovative solutions to improve the quality of international language teaching at universities, etc.

Speaking at the Forum, Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed the importance of innovating language training, introducing the School's long tradition of training in Vietnamese and Vietnamese studies, the mission of innovating teaching and improving Vietnamese proficiency assessment that has been assigned by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training in recent years. The Vice President also called on partner universities that are and will be teaching Vietnamese to strengthen cooperation in exchanging lecturers, students, learning materials, etc. so that the teaching of Vietnamese and Vietnamese language and culture abroad will increasingly develop.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan visited and worked at Xi’an University of Foreign Studies. The two sides agreed to promote cooperation and exchange of staff and lecturers in the fields of Vietnamese language, language and culture research, tourism, communications, etc. in the coming years.
