At the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh assessed BIDV Thanh Xuan as one of the trusted partners of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities over the years. The effective cooperation of the partner is clearly demonstrated through the annual scholarship awarding activities for the School's students. These scholarships have created learning opportunities, encouraged students with difficult circumstances to strive in their studies, and strengthened their trust in the School.
In response, Mr. Lai Tien Quan reaffirmed BIDV Thanh Xuan's mission of implementing social responsibility through cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. BIDV has always determined to accompany and in the coming school year, wishes to be able to participate more in the activities of the University whenever it needs to call for partners. BIDV will be ready to stand side by side with the University to resolve financial difficulties.
Next, the leaders of the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding.
Accordingly, in 4 consecutive school years from 2019-2020 to 2022-2023, BIDV Thanh Xuan will sponsor the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with a total budget of 250,000,000 VND/1 school year to serve the school's activities such as construction, renovation of facilities, granting scholarships, scientific research, organizing seminars, ensuring other social security conditions. BIDV Thanh Xuan Branch will provide banking services requested by the school including loans, opening deposit accounts, providing ATM cards and other payment cards, and payment transfers.

On its part, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities commits to using services at BIDV such as paying salaries to staff and lecturers through BIDV ATM cards, integrating BIDV bank cards into linked cards for students; promoting BIDV's brand and image to staff and students of the University. At the same time, the two sides will coordinate to carry out research projects, scientific research works, organize seminars and conferences on socio-economic, finance and banking fields associated with brand promotion.
