Signing of MOU with BIDV Thanh Xuan

At the signing ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh acknowledged BIDV Thanh Xuan as one of the reliable partners of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for many years. The effective cooperation of BIDV is clearly demonstrated through its annual scholarship programs for the University's students. These scholarships have created learning opportunities, encouraged students from disadvantaged backgrounds to strive for academic excellence, and strengthened their confidence in the University.

In response, Mr. Lai Tien Quan reaffirmed BIDV Thanh Xuan's mission of fulfilling its social responsibility through cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. BIDV has always been committed to supporting the University and, in the coming academic year, hopes to participate even more in the University's activities whenever a partner is needed. BIDV will be ready to work closely with the University to resolve any financial difficulties.

Next, representatives from both sides signed a memorandum of understanding.

Accordingly, for four consecutive academic years from 2019-2020 to 2022-2023, BIDV Thanh Xuan branch will provide the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with a total funding of VND 250,000,000 per academic year to support the University's activities such as building and renovating facilities, providing scholarships, conducting scientific research, organizing seminars, and ensuring other social welfare conditions. BIDV Thanh Xuan branch will provide banking services as requested by the University, including loans, opening deposit accounts, providing ATM cards and other payment cards, and money transfers.

For its part, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities commits to utilizing BIDV's services, such as paying salaries to staff and lecturers through BIDV ATM cards, integrating BIDV bank cards into linked student cards, and promoting BIDV's brand and image to the university's staff and students. Simultaneously, the two parties will collaborate on research projects, scientific research works, and organize seminars and conferences on socio-economic, financial, and banking issues, linked to brand promotion efforts.
