Granting funding to Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union
192 million VND is the total sponsorship value donated by the Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas and Viegrid Company to Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union.This amount was awarded at the "Advanced Youth Studying and Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" Commendation Ceremony in 2010 of Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union, June 18, 2010. Specifically, Viegrid Media and Technology Joint Stock Company sponsored software for 40 computers and 8 sets of computers. Total value 100 million VND.

The Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) awarded 30 students and 80 outstanding youths with a total value of 60 million VND; donated 5 million VND to the Provincial Children's House and 27 million VND to the "Youth Talent Fund" for districts, towns and city unions under the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union. On behalf of the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Vice Rector) said: Through this sponsorship activity, with the help of central and local media agencies, the University hopes that economic units across the country, collectives and individuals will pay attention to the development of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.



This sponsorship activity of the units is first of all a meaningful social work, aiming to create resources for the Dien Bien Youth Union from the province to the grassroots to operate more effectively, improve the working environment of the provincial-level union staff (especially in information technology). Thereby, motivating and encouraging youth union members and students of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province to overcome difficulties to rise up, contributing their youth to the implementation of political tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.
