192 million VND is the total value of the sponsorship donated by the Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas and Viegrid Company to the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union.This amount was awarded at the "Advanced Youth in Studying and Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" commendation ceremony of the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union in 2010, on June 18, 2010. Specifically, Viegrid Communication and Technology Joint Stock Company sponsored software for 40 computers and 8 computer sets. The total value was 100 million VND.
The Center for Research and Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Regions (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) awarded prizes to 30 outstanding students and 80 outstanding young people with a total value of 60 million VND; donated 5 million VND to the Provincial Children's House and 27 million VND to the "Young Talent Fund" for district, town, and city youth unions under the Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union. On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Vice Rector) stated: Through this sponsorship activity, with the support of central and local media agencies, the University hopes that economic units nationwide, collectives, and individuals will pay attention to the development of ethnic minorities and mountainous regions.
This sponsorship activity by the participating organizations is, first and foremost, a meaningful social undertaking, aimed at providing resources for the Dien Bien Youth Union organization, from the provincial level to the grassroots, to operate more effectively and improve the working environment for provincial-level Youth Union officials (especially in information technology). Through this, it motivates and encourages young people and students from ethnic minority groups in Dien Bien province to overcome difficulties and strive for success, contributing their youthful energy to fulfilling the political tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the people.
