Mr. Dam Quoc Hiep and the Danko Scholarship Fund for USSH

Mr. Dam Quoc Hiep (Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danko Group) is an alumnus of the Philosophy Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He is the architect of the Danko scholarship fund for students of the University.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Huu Su (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danko Group), Mr. Dam Quoc Hiep (Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danko Group), Prof. Dr. Vu Minh Giang (Chairman of the Science and Training Council of Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), and Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities).

Mr. Dam Quoc Hiep (Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danko Group) and Professor Pham Quang Minh signed the official cooperation agreement between the two entities in the presence of distinguished guests.

The Danko Scholarship Fund, initially valued at 1 billion VND, is dedicated to supporting outstanding students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is a gesture of generosity from Mr. Tran Huu Su, a former student of the University, to the students in particular and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general. Through this event, Danko also shares its desire to contribute to and support the development of the younger generation and the national education system.

On behalf of the faculty and students of the University, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his deep gratitude for the beautiful gesture of a successful businessman and former student of the University. Thanks to such generous hearts, many generations of students will have more opportunities to overcome difficulties and gain more motivation in their studies and training. The establishment of the Fund will also strongly inspire students in their entrepreneurial endeavors and career development; encouraging a humane spirit always focused on the development of the community.

With the guiding principle of "Liberal Education" and the motto "Respecting the Past and Looking Towards the Future" deeply ingrained in the school's development orientation, coupled with the support of businesses like Danko, students of the school will not only be rich in knowledge but also possess the courage and aspiration to achieve success in the future.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13th), Professor Pham Quang Minh wished Danko Group continued strong development and further affirmation of its role as an outstanding entrepreneur and enterprise contributing to the development of the country.

Sharing his vision for establishing the Fund, Mr. Tran Huu Su, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Danko Group, said he hopes this will be an investment in the younger generation – in the future. And to ensure the fund's sustainable development and expanding influence, Danko will continue to call upon the generosity of entrepreneurs and other individuals to contribute both spiritually and materially to the Fund.

Sharing his feelings at the ceremony, Professor Vu Minh Giang said that the cooperation between a leading Vietnamese university and a business like Danko is a bright spot, a promising indicator of the development of education. The combination of educators and businesses will open up new opportunities for students in the future. This is also a valuable gesture from a successful alumnus towards the university – the cradle that gave him the knowledge and aspirations to build his career and achieve success today.

Danko Group provides services in various types of real estate, including apartments, villas, land plots, and resorts. In the near future, the group plans to introduce several new projects and expand its workforce to 2,500 people.
