Representing Vietnam National University, Hanoi were Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Training Department; Ms. Hua Thanh Hoa, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Minh Truong, Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department; ... along with faculty leaders and staff implementing the Mitsubishi scholarship program from units whose students received the scholarship.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department Nguyen Minh Truong stated that over the years, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has collaborated with numerous domestic and international organizations and individuals to effectively develop and implement scholarship programs to support undergraduate and postgraduate students at VNU. These include the Mitsubishi UFJ Scholarship Fund of Japan, MUFG Bank Hanoi branch, and the Mitsubishi Scholarship program.
Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department Nguyen Minh Truong delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.
The effective implementation of the Mitsubishi Scholarship Program at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) over the past 30 years is a vivid testament to the significant development in the cooperative relationship between MUFG Bank Hanoi branch, the Mitsubishi UFJ Scholarship Foundation of Japan, and VNU in particular, as well as between the Vietnamese and Japanese people in general. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to MUFG Bank Hanoi branch and the Mitsubishi UFJ Scholarship Foundation of Japan for their meaningful attention to VNU students and congratulated the 30 students who received scholarships this time. He expressed his hope that the students will always maintain their excellent academic achievements and continuously strive to become a source of pride for VNU.
At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Masao Kojima, General Director of MUFG Bank Hanoi branch, congratulated the 30 outstanding students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) who received the Mitsubishi scholarship and thanked VNU for its cooperation and partnership with the bank over the past 30 years. With the desire to contribute to the development of the country through education, the Foundation has awarded 3295 scholarships to Vietnamese students over the years, including 1196 students from VNU.

Representing the 30 scholarship recipients, Tran Phuong Anh, a student from the Department of Japanese Language and Culture at the University of Foreign Languages, shared: "The Mitsubishi scholarship is a meaningful reward, giving students more confidence and support to study and train, and to pursue their dreams and aspirations." Phuong Anh also expressed her commitment to always strive to study and train well, worthy of the trust and confidence of the scholarship fund and the university.
