At LOTTE CENTER Hanoi on April 10, 2024, 05 VNU-USSH students were honored to receive scholarships from the Lotte Scholarship Fund, Korea.
Accompanying the students were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the school and Master Trinh Van Bang - Representative of the Student Affairs Department.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Choi Young Sam - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam; Ms. Hae Sun Chang - President of Lotte Scholarship Foundation, Mr. Seoung Hoon Lee - President of Lotte Welfare Foundation; Mr. Cho Chang Yong - General Director of Lotte Hotel Hanoi with the presence of nearly 76 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), and universities inside and outside the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Hae Sun Chang - President of Lotte Scholarship Foundation shared: The Lotte scholarships awarded are encouragement and motivation from the Foundation to students who are facing difficult circumstances, but have the will and strength to rise up and achieve high academic achievements. Ms. Hae Sun Chang hopes that in the future, Vietnamese students will also make every effort, pay more attention to Korean culture, and deepen the Vietnam - Korea friendship.

Mr. Choi Young Sam - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam hopes: The students receiving scholarships today will become outstanding talents, solid pillars responsible for the future of Korea and Vietnam.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU affirmed: Innovation, creativity, connection and serving society are not only goals but also driving forces for sustainable development.
Representing the participating universities, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, expressed her sincere thanks to the Lotte Scholarship Foundation for accompanying Vietnamese students to overcome adversity and develop themselves on the path of education.
Established in 1983, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation has always strived to help students pursue their dreams and passions, while promoting the development of global young talents, not only in Korea but also around the world. In Vietnam, the Foundation has organized many initiatives to provide financial support to students at universities, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi). The Foundation has awarded dozens of scholarships to encourage students to overcome difficulties, pursue their passions, succeed in their chosen fields after graduation, and become a bridge for the strong friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
