Information about the 2023 Valedictorian Scholarship

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 594/CV-BTP-2023 dated December 6, 2023 of Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund on selecting students to participate in the program "Supporting Valedictorians" in 2023, the School respectfully requests the Board of Directors of Faculties/Institutes/Departments to widely notify students to know and register for scholarships according to the following specific contents:
Information about the program "Supporting Valedictorians":
The Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund was established in 1993, with the First Secretary of the Central Youth Union as Chairman of the Executive Board, and Tien Phong Newspaper as the Standing Committee of the Fund. Since its establishment, the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund has mobilized domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to contribute many resources, promptly giving and supporting talented students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well.
The “Supporting Valedictorians” program is an annual activity in the series of activities of the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund and Tien Phong newspaper. The program aims to honor and award scholarships to new valedictorians and students with high entrance rankings to universities and academies nationwide, who are in difficult circumstances.
The program "Supporting Valedictorians 2023" is expected to be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in January 2024 with many rich and useful activities.
2023 Valedictorian Step-Up Scholarship:
- Scholarship criteria:100 scholarships for new valedictorians and students with high entrance rankings to universities and colleges across the country.
- Scholarship value:Each gift includes 10 million VND in cash and many gifts.
- Scholarship application:
+ Certificate of new valedictorian, students with high entrance ranking (with entrance score) confirmed by school leaders.
+ Citizen identification card (notarized copy).
+ One of the following certificates: Poor/near-poor household book in 2023; Permanent residence registration/Confirmation of residence information in extremely disadvantaged communes in the period of 2021 - 2025 by the Prime Minister; Particularly small ethnic minority; Certificate of family in difficult circumstances by the commune/ward/town level.
+ Certificates of awards in provincial, city, national and international competitions (if any).
+ Candidate's letter: Each candidate will handwrite a letter describing their family situation, their efforts during their studies, and at the same time expressing their plans, dreams and aspirations for future contributions. The letter will include a portrait photo and the candidate's current address and phone number for the organizers to easily contact.
The Board of Directors of Faculties/Institutes/Departments are requested to notify this program to students. Students who are qualified and wish to register, please submit your application to the School (through the Office of Politics and Student Affairs).before December 15, 2023 (Friday).
