The Program was launched on the basis of the MOU signed between two sides on December 30th, 2017 as well as the Agreement on teaching Vietnamese language on December 13th, 2018 with the sponsorship of South Korean Government. Accordingly, in addition to 2 months studying at Howon University (South Korea), 17 young South Korena students went to USSH to engage in a course on Vietnamese culture and language for 5 months at the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture. After the program, 9 out of 17 South Korean students have found jobs in Vietnam.

Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh (USSH's Rector) said he was impressed by the efforts spent by the South Korean students. It must have been a fervent interest in and passion for Vietnamese language, culture, history, country and people that had helped them successfully complete this Program. They were regarded by the Rector as the cultural ambassadors of two countries. Towards the Korea Global CEO Research Forum, USSH hoped to continue bilateral cooperation through new projects given the success of this first program.

On behalf of the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Hong Con (Director) sent his congratulations to the South Korean students, especially 9 students having found their jobs in Vietnam. The Center commits to open the door to welcome any of them wanting to return to learn more about Vietnamese language and culture. The Professor also sent his thanks to the University as the Center's organization in charge and the Korea Global CEO Research Forum for being with it throughout the whole Program.
Prof. Kim Kwang Soo speaks at the ceremony
On behalf of the Korea Global CEO Research Forum, Prof. Kim Kwang Soo (Director of Forum) expressed his optimism in the future career of the graduated South Korean young students. He believed with the pioneering and daring spirit of entrepreneurship, they will find many opportunities for professional development in a country with abundant potential for economic growth such as Vietnam.
At the ceremony, Prof. Kim Kwang Soo and Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh granted certificates for completing the Program to the South Korean students.
