This outcome was determined during the second session of the State Professorship Council for the 2024-2029 term, held over two days, November 2-3, 2024. Among the 615 candidates recognized for these titles across various disciplines (including security science and military science) 45 were approved for professor titles and 570 for associate professor titles.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University (VNU-USSH), proudly announced that four of its scientists have achieved the criteria for professor and associate professor titles across two interdisciplinary councils:
In the Interdisciplinary Council for Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology: Professor Nguyen Quang Hung and Professor Lai Quoc Khanh.
In the Interdisciplinary Council for Culture, Arts, and Physical Education: Associate Professor Dang Thi Phuong Anh and Associate Professor Dang Hoai Giang.
