Center for Communication and Information Technology was founded in November, 2022 with the following functions and tasks:

Functions:

- Training: Teach basic informatics and supplementary IT skills for regular, non-regular and in-service students; hold short-term and crash courses that provide certificates according to the regulations set by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Ministry of Education and Training.

- Consulting: Advice the University on applying IT in management and governance affairs and collaborate with other units to strengthen the use of IT in teaching affairs.

- Service: Provide services in the field of IT management and application. 

Tasks:

- Train basic informatics for all students of USSH, advice the University on teaching Basic informatics as a subject, and ensure the outputs of students.

- Offer short-term courses on IT, train and provide certificates of MS office skills, train and provide certificates of international informatics.

- Develop and train supplementary IT skills for USSH's staff and students.

- Advice the University on applying IT in management and governance affairs towards creating a smart-digital university (university 4.0).

- Study and develop applied programs and collaborate with USSH's faculties to strengthen IT in teaching social sciences and humanities.

- Manage the system of IT equipment of the University (including computer rooms, servers and Internet connection).

- Consult and supervise the maintenance of computer systems, facilities and Internet within USSH.
