The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, offers refresher courses on applied Eastern philosophy.The short-term course in Applied Eastern Philosophy equips students with a system of fundamental, basic, and in-depth knowledge of Eastern philosophy, enabling them to apply this knowledge relatively well in understanding and solving simple, practical problems in practice; and at the same time, to integrate with the world. In terms of skills, students will develop research skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to address real-life issues of human beings and society. Job opportunities after completing the course: The course supplements the knowledge, skills, and attitude of students working in the fields of philosophy, literature, art, religion, economics, and politics, and allows them to participate in other areas of social practice, in socio-political organizations, and professional organizations. More practically, it serves their own needs and their specific work responsibilities. Upon completion of the course, students receive a certificate in Applied Eastern Philosophy. Students can then continue with higher-level courses to become highly qualified experts in various fields of Eastern philosophy. 1. Target Audience: All individuals with a certain level of education who are interested in and willing to comply with the training requirements and regulations of the School. 2. Curriculum: 2.1 1-MONTH COURSE PROGRAM (PROGRAM A) Total credits to be accumulated: 6 units (90 hours) 2.2 3-MONTH COURSE PROGRAM (PROGRAM B1) Total credits to be accumulated: 13 units (195 hours) 2.3 6-MONTH COURSE PROGRAM (PROGRAM B2) Total credits to be accumulated: 25 units (375 hours) 3. Time, Location, and Form of Study: 3.1. 3.1. Time: Classes start continuously from April 2011. 3.2. Location: At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. 3.3. Learning format: - Classroom sessions: A specific plan will be provided when the class begins. - Practical exercises, assignments in class and fieldwork. - Guided research using reference materials. 4. Teaching staff: Professors, associate professors, doctors, and experts in philosophical thought and Eastern culture from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute of Philosophy, the Institute of Religious Studies, Hanoi Pedagogical University, the National Economics University, and other central and Hanoi-based agencies. 5.
