University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling students for the short-term training course "Journalism Writing Skills" (basic), starting in May 2011.
I. General information

Object: Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities. -
Target: At the end of the course, students will grasp the basic knowledge and skills of journalism, specifically as follows:
- The face of Vietnamese journalism and career opportunities in the field of print media;
- Skills in problem identification, information gathering and assessment of press information;
- Modern journalism writing skills
- Interviewing skills as a professional practice of journalists, and interviewing as an independent genre of journalism;
- Basic journalism genres such as news, interviews, portraits, reports, and reflections;
- Press photo

Study time: 8 weeks. 3 sessions per week. -
Tuition: Students outside the school: 2,200,000 VND Students who are students in the school (with student card): 1,800,000 VND Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with diploma): 2,000,000 VND *
Use of student work: Appropriate and high-quality practical products of students will be posted on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and will receive royalties according to current regulations.
II. Lecturer
They are highly qualified lecturers, professionally trained in journalism and communications in advanced countries around the world, and experienced television, print and electronic newspaper reporters working at central and Hanoi press and communications agencies.
III. Graduation Certificate
Certificate in Vietnamese and English, issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
