Journalism Writing Skills Class opens in August 2011

University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling for the short-term training course "Journalism Writing Skills", opening in August 2011.

I. General information

- Target: Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities. - Objective: At the end of the course, students will grasp the basic knowledge and skills of journalism, specifically as follows: + The appearance of Vietnamese journalism and career opportunities in the field of print media; + Skills to detect problems and collect information and evaluate press information; + Skills to write modern press news + Interview skills as a professional operation of journalists, and interviewing as an independent genre of journalism; + Basic journalism genres such as news, interviews, portraits, reports, reflections; + Press photos - Study time: 8 weeks. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Tuition: Students outside the school: 2,200,000 VND Students who are students in the school (with student card): 1,800,000 VND Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (with diploma): 2,000,000 VND * Use of students' practice products: Appropriate and good quality practice products of students will be posted on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and will receive royalties according to current regulations.

II. Lecturer

They are highly qualified lecturers, professionally trained in journalism and communications in advanced countries around the world, and experienced television, print and electronic newspaper reporters working at central and Hanoi press and communications agencies.

III. Graduation Certificate

Certificate in Vietnamese and English, issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
