- The thesis systematizes the main written documents related to the way medieval governments behaved towards Nom script and Nom literary life.

- The thesis analyzes specific manifestations considered as "ways of behavior" of medieval regimes towards Nom script and Nom literary life through written documents.

- The thesis contributes to the renewal of awareness of Nom literature by explaining the "behavior" of medieval regimes towards Nom and the life of Nom literature in the medieval cultural environment.

- The thesis contributes to a more objective view of the process of Vietnamese medieval literature, initially aiming to overcome biased perceptions about the way of behaving towards Nom characters and Nom literature of the political regimes when they think that Nom characters and Nom literature are always despised by the political regimes; explaining the internal and historical factors for the formation of the way of behaving towards Nom characters and Nom literature.

- The thesis contributes to improving the quality of research and teaching of Nom literature in particular and national literature in general.
