11. Summary of thesis results: This is the first comprehensive and in-depth study of the Keo village festival from the perspective of Vietnamese studies. Therefore, the thesis will provide theoretical and practical arguments for Vietnamese studies research and contribute to supplementing a characteristic approach to a cultural phenomenon for research, training, and management of Vietnamese traditional culture and festivals today.

Practical applications: Through the case study of Keo village, Gia Lam district, Hanoi, this thesis contributes to clarifying the relationship between Buddhism and indigenous beliefs, between the village temple and village culture; the blending of Buddhism and indigenous beliefs in tradition and in contemporary Vietnamese cultural life, thereby drawing conclusions about issues in preserving and conserving national cultural identity.
