11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The thesis has systematized and updated some theoretical issues related to adaptation and designed a theoretical framework and a set of tools for measuring adaptation to community reintegration of ex-convicts.
- Compared to the theoretical framework regarding adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners as presented in Chapter 2 of this thesis, the data obtained from practice reflects the following aspects: Adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners is at an average level compared to the hypothesis that the majority of former prisoners adapt poorly to community reintegration. The research results show progress in all areas: family, community, and work, across all three aspects: cognitive, emotional, and behavioral, at two time points: "upon release" and "currently". Within each adaptation area, adaptation to family is the highest, followed by adaptation to work, and finally, adaptation to society is the most complex and lowest.
- The research results also indicate that adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners is related to demographic variables such as their educational and occupational level and family living standards; length of sentence and crime classification; adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners is related to coping mechanisms in difficult situations. Age is not related to adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners. Adaptation to community reintegration of former prisoners is related to coping mechanisms in difficult situations. There is a correlation between negative factors from the living environment and individuals of former prisoners and their adaptation to community reintegration. The results show that the stronger the negative factors from individuals and the environment affecting former prisoners, the lower their adaptation to community reintegration, and vice versa.
12. Practical applications:
The research findings of this thesis can be used as a useful reference for researchers in criminal psychology, forensic psychology, policy researchers, state management officials in security and order, especially regional police forces, to gain more information and knowledge to further improve the ability of former prisoners to adapt to reintegration into the community.
13. Future research directions:
The research focuses on adapting to the reintegration into the community of former prisoners who committed specific crimes with significant social consequences, such as drug-related crimes, intentional injury, murder, rape, etc.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The thesis not only contributes to systematizing and updating a number of theoretical issues related to adaptation, but also designed theoretical frameworks and measuring tools to adapt to the community reintegration of the PWCTIS.
Compared with the theory of adaptation to community reintegration of PWCTIS stated in Chapter 2 of the thesis, the obtained field data have reflected on aspects such as: The level of adaptation to community reintegration of PWCTIS is lower compared to the hypothesis that most PWCTIS have low adaptive capacity to community reintegration. The research result shows that there are improvements in all areas: family, community, work on all 3 aspects: perception, emotion, behavior at 2 different periods "just released from prison" and "current state". In each area of adaptation, the level of adaptation to family is highest, followed by work adaptation, and finally, adaptation to society is more complex than the lowest.
- Research results also show that adaptation to community reintegration of PWCTIS is related to demographic variables such as education and occupation and standard of family living; Time for serving the sentence and classification of crimes; PWCTIS's adaptation to community reintegration has relationship with difficult responses to difficult situations. Age was not related to PWCTIS's adaptation to community reintegration. PWCTIS's adaptation to community reintegration has relationship with difficult responses to difficult situations. There is a correlation between the negative factors from the living environment and PWCTIS to the level of adaptation to community reintegration of PWCTIS. The results show that the stronger the negative factors from individuals and environment impacting the PWCTIS, the lower their level of adaptation to community reintegration, and vice versa.
12. Practical applicability:
The research results of the thesis can be used as a useful reference for researchers in criminal psychology, forensic psychology, policy researchers, law enforcement officers. Ministry of State management of security and order, especially the regional police force to get more information and knowledge in order to take measures to further improve the adaptability to community reintegration of the acceptors completed the prison sentence.
13. Further research directions:
Focusing on research on adaptation to community reintegration of people who have completed prison sentences who have committed specific crimes that cause great social consequences such as drug crimes, intentional injury, murder, rape...
