The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has received much affection and meaningful support on the occasion of its 80th anniversary and 30th anniversary.

On November 19, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Literature's tradition (1945-2025), the 30th anniversary of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' development within the structure of Hanoi National University (1995-2025), and received the First Class Labor Medal.
On the occasion of the Anniversary Celebration, the School was honored to welcome Comrade Le Thanh Long, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to attend, deliver a speech, and present the First-Class Labor Medal. The School was also honored to receive congratulatory letters and flower arrangements from Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; a congratulatory flower arrangement from Comrade Luong Cuong, Member of the Politburo, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; a congratulatory flower arrangement from Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and a congratulatory flower arrangement from Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. We are honored to welcome leaders from central ministries and agencies, leaders from provinces and cities, leaders from Hanoi National University, research institutes and universities, domestic and international partners, press agencies, and generations of faculty and students of the University.

The university has received practical material support from many domestic agencies, organizations, and individuals, such as: Nhan Dan Newspaper, Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Parents of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, and Danko Group Joint Stock Company, which donated a scholarship fund worth 3 billion VND for the university's students. This significant event of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has received attention and coverage from more than 40 media outlets, including: Vietnam Television, Hanoi Television, Voice of Vietnam, Government Electronic Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Representatives Newspaper, etc.
In addition, the university received congratulations from international partners on this special occasion. These included congratulations from HSE University (Russia) – one of Europe's leading research universities; the National Institute of Archives and Records Management (PSL) (France) – a world-renowned institution in the fields of archives, records management, and heritage; Peking University, Yunnan University, Guangxi University of Nationalities, Shanghai Foreign Languages ​​University, Renmin University of China, Sichuan Foreign Languages ​​University, Yunnan Agricultural University, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Foreign Languages ​​University, and Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts (Jinshan, Taiwan) – partners with long-standing academic collaborations with the university.
Professor Fang Fang, Vice President of Peking University, on behalf of the university, extended warm congratulations to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and highly appreciated the University's contributions to training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities in Vietnam, the region, and the world. The letter also affirmed the strong friendship between the two universities, spanning decades, built on a foundation of academic exchange, faculty-student interaction, and research cooperation.
