The University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Bansomdejchaopraya University (BSRU) have established a collaborative relationship for nearly 30 years, spanning various stages. This year, to commemorate its 130th anniversary, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a delegation to attend an international scientific conference and engage in multidisciplinary cooperation.
The two universities have signed cooperation agreements in many fields of social sciences and humanities, such as: exchange of lecturers and students for teaching and learning Thai and Vietnamese, international publishing cooperation, organizing Summer Camp programs, organizing international conferences to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, cooperation on issues of Vietnamese studies and Thai studies, Southeast Asian international relations, Mekong studies, local governance, and cross-border ethnic groups.
The principals of the two schools renewed the comprehensive cooperation agreement.
Leaders and experts from both schools exchanged gifts and took commemorative photos.
Cooperation development has also been expanded to include the ASEAN-China University Network, encompassing partners such as: Iligan Institute of Technology, Mindanao State University (Philippines), Mahasaraswati University Denpasar (Indonesia), Leshan Normal University (China), Utara University Malaysia (Malaysia), Lipa City College (Philippines), National Teachers College (Philippines), National Pingtung University (Taiwan, China)...
Collaborating with BSRU and other Asian partners holds great potential for the development of education and training at USSH in particular, and in Vietnam in general, in the field of social sciences and humanities.
