1. Typical cooperation projects

The Faculty always focuses on cooperation activities with domestic and international partners, so these activities are increasingly promoted, creating a premise and motivation for innovation and improving the quality of education and training of the Faculty.
Cooperation projects include cooperation in training (exchange programs for lecturers and students, development of undergraduate and graduate programs, internships and field trips), cooperation in scientific research and international publication.
In training, we can mention projects such as TOURIST (2017-2020) funded by the EU with the cooperation of 10 universities in Vietnam, Thailand and Europe; DAAD project "Sustainable Tourism" (2015-2017) with Greifswald University (Federal Republic of Germany) in building new master's degree subjects, academic exchange of lecturers and students; student exchange project with Guangxi University (China) (2015-2016); short-term student exchange activities with Rikkyo University (Japan) are carried out annually; internship and practical cooperation programs for students, job support such as Summer internship at RTC, hotel internship at 5-star hotels in Hanoi.
In scientific research activities, there are cooperation projects to organize scientific seminars such as: National seminar "Building policy mechanisms to develop tourism in the Northwest region" with the Vietnam Folklore Association (2015); Book publishing project "Tourism and Monarchy in Southeast Asia" with Chiang Mai University (Thailand) and international seminar "Sustainable tourism development in Southeast Asia - Issues raised" in collaboration with Greifswald University (Federal Republic of Germany) and Hue University (November 2018).
In addition, the Faculty collaborated with Bournemouth University (UK), with funding from the TOURIST Project and the European Commission through the Eramus+ Program to organize the Workshop “Sustainable tourism development: Lessons learned for South East Asian countries”. The international workshop was funded by the TOURIST program – “Capacity building for sustainable tourism development and innovative financial management strategies to increase the positive impact of tourism in Vietnam and Thailand” and the European Commission through the Eramus+ Program (code # 585785-EPP-1-2017-1-AT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
Since 2016, the Faculty has received 01 Japanese professor from Rikkyo University (Japan) to work at the Faculty to support training, research and international cooperation activities.
