According to information from the Examination Steering Committee, in 2025, more than 2000 candidates registered to take the entrance exam for the 10th grade specialized classes in Literature, History, and Geography at the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities. Even during the first exam session, despite a light rain, the candidates were present on time, strictly adhering to the exam regulations and maintaining seriousness throughout the test. The first common exam went smoothly; the students assessed the questions as being of appropriate difficulty and closely following the content of the curriculum they had thoroughly reviewed. Therefore, they were very pleased with their successful completion of the exam.
On the morning of May 24, 2025, a large number of parents and candidates arrived very early at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
This year, the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities is recruiting 140 students for its specialized 10th-grade classes, with 70 places in Literature, 35 in History, and 35 in Geography. Each candidate must take three common subjects: Literature (essay, 120 minutes), Mathematics (multiple choice, 90 minutes), and English (multiple choice, 60 minutes), and one specialized subject: Literature, History, or Geography (essay, 150 minutes). Exam scores are calculated on a 10-point scale.
According to the school's plan, the entrance exam will be held over two days, May 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday). On the afternoon of May 24th, candidates will take the general Mathematics and English exams. On the morning of May 25th, candidates will take the specialized subject exams, each lasting 150 minutes.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities meticulously and thoroughly prepared for the entrance exam to the 10th grade at the specialized high school, ensuring that the exam was conducted seriously, fairly, objectively, and safely for the candidates.

Nearly 300 staff and lecturers, along with over 100 students from the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities and volunteer students, were mobilized to participate in the organization of the competition.
Upon entering the school gate, parents and students were immediately greeted by student volunteers who held umbrellas for them, guided them to the examination rooms, and offered encouragement, creating a comfortable and positive atmosphere for the candidates. The signage, examination rooms, examination board rooms, and waiting areas for parents were all meticulously arranged to ensure safety and facilitate the examination process. The school provided a convenient and well-ventilated waiting area for parents to sit while their children took the exam.
The candidates finished the Literature exam feeling excited and confident because they had done well. Both when arriving at and leaving the school, they were warmly and thoughtfully welcomed by the volunteer students of the school.
