Collaborative activities

In addition to training and research links with units in the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies has established relationships with many training and research units and organizations at home and abroad. Notably, the support and cooperation of the Ford Foundation and the Wenner-Gren Global Anthropology Foundation with the Faculty in building and innovating the training program system and improving the research and teaching capacity of the teaching staff.
In addition to regular scientific activities, the Faculty organizes international scientific events, connecting and gathering prestigious experts from home and abroad to discuss many important issues of the industry, Vietnamese society and countries in the region. Some prominent forums include:

• 2015: Collaborated with the Institute of Culture and Society at the University of Western Sydney, Australia, to organize the international conference "Cultural and Social Transformation in Urban Areas in the Process of Globalization and Modernization".
• 2015: In collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Ethnology and Anthropology, the Institute of Ethnology, and the Nguyen Van Huyen Museum, organized the international conference “Anthropology in Vietnam: History, Current Status and Prospects” sponsored by the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
• 2016: Collaborated with UNESCO Vietnam to organize the international workshop “Cultural Resources for Sustainable Development: Theory, Practice and Policy Solutions” sponsored by the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
• 2017: Organizing the international scientific seminar "Influences and Imprints of the Soviet People in Anthropology in Vietnam" sponsored by the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
• Continue to maintain, develop and expand cooperative relationships in research, training and consulting on religious and ethnic policies with existing partners, and further expand with regional and international partners.
  Since its establishment, the Faculty has cooperated closely with state management departments in the field of religion, research institutes, schools and religious organizations to jointly train and organize scientific research seminars. The Department has been and is carrying out the following typical cooperation projects:

• Completed the cooperation project with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and organized the workshop "Promoting the role of Buddhism in participating in socialization of charitable social work".
• Completed the project of organizing a scientific conference in collaboration with the Vietnam Evangelical Church in the North to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Vietnam Evangelical Church.
• Completed the project in coordination with the Catholic Solidarity Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front to organize a scientific workshop: "Promoting the role of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee in the new situation".
• Completed the cooperation project with the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy to organize the scientific workshop "Training talented monks and human resources of the Khmer ethnic group in the South at the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy: Tasks and solutions".
• In collaboration with the Center for Women's Studies, the Vietnam Institute of Buddhist Studies organized a workshop on "The worldly spirit of Vietnamese Buddhist Women". ...
• Cooperate with units such as Khmer Southern Buddhist Academy, Provincial Buddhist Colleges to organize training courses for Bachelor and Master programs in Religious Studies.
