The Institute's training program is designed according to the output standard approach, based on social requirements to build learning modules. The Institute of Journalism and Communication is the first journalism training institution in Vietnam to apply the credit-based training model, creating conditions for learners to actively accumulate learning modules, proactively progress in their studies and have the ability to graduate early.
The difference of the Institute of Journalism and Communication is that during the learning process, students are comprehensively equipped with skills and expertise in different types of journalism and communication (from print, radio, television, electronic newspapers, mobile newspapers, PR, advertising, etc.), the system of knowledge and new technologies are regularly updated in the training program (digital media, AI, digital transformation, etc.), creating more open opportunities for students when they graduate.
Theory is being more closely linked with practice, which are important conditions for the Institute to exchange students and recognize training credits with the network of major journalism schools in the country and the region.
