This year's journey home was different. We were from various provinces: Lang Son, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, and Quang Binh, divided into groups on six buses, ensuring no crowding or pushing. The teachers and staff from the Board of Directors and the Training and Student Affairs Department arranged our seats and gave us kind instructions before the buses departed. So many emotions, so much love!
The schoolyard was bustling from 5:30 this morning as everyone prepared to take us back to our hometowns for Tet (Lunar New Year).
Mr. Dang Hong Son - the Vice Principal of the school - gave us thorough instructions before the bus departed.
A light breakfast with pastries, a drink, and a card with a warm message. Today, that breakfast will accompany us on our journey home. Late yesterday evening, the teachers from the Student Affairs department meticulously wrapped each of those lovely little gifts. It suddenly reminded me of the breakfasts my mother used to wake up very early to cook for my siblings and me to take to school. How warm, thoughtful, and caring it was!
At the Faculty of Humanities, this is not the first time we have received such thoughtful care from our teachers. VNU-USSH students not only receive guidance and instruction from their teachers during classes, but also receive companionship and support in their lives. Just last Saturday, many gifts at the "0 VND" booth at the USSH 2026 Spring Fair were donated to students by teachers, organizations, and businesses. Students residing in the Me Tri dormitory also received the love and affection of their teachers during the Tet (Lunar New Year) greeting and gift-giving program for resident students.
A new spring has arrived, bringing with it new joys. We are grateful for the warm feelings and thoughtful care of the Hanoi University of Humanities! We love the Hanoi University of Humanities family for these subtle and thoughtful gestures!
