On December 6, 2023, at the Youth Theater, Hanoi, the Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Art held an Award Ceremony for works of theory and criticism of literature and art published in 2022. Accordingly, Prof. Dr. Le Van Lan (pen name Ma Giang Lan), former Head of the Department of Modern Vietnamese Literature, Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, was honored to receive the Award.

On October 6, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU – USSH) had a working session with the Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam within the framework of educational cooperation and organized a seminar on “Economic transformation in Ireland”.

Within the framework of the Vietnammica project, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) welcomed Prof. Marc Bui and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pascal Bourdeaux from the French Institute for Advanced Study (EPHE) to work and give a series of presentations on the topic "Vietnamese History and Digital Humanities: Revisiting and Using Historical Sources".

With continued recognition as a key research center at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in January 2023, the Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM) under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi has affirmed its scientific position with an orientation towards applied research in the field of policy science and management.
