During the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong expressed his appreciation for Dr. Michael Fullilove's visit and working session with the university's leadership, as well as his discussions with students on issues of concern. According to Vice Rector Dao Thanh Truong, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is pursuing a strategic development goal oriented towards becoming a research university, continuing to affirm its leading position in research and training in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. The university aims to be among the top 150 universities in Asia by 2025, among the top 100 universities in the continent by 2035, and on par with leading universities (among the top 500) in the world.
