Many scientists contribute research opinions on Ho Chi Minh's ideology in innovation.

The seminar is within the framework of the research project KX.02.29/21-25 under the National Special Science and Technology Program 2021 - 2025 "Research, application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's thought in the cause of national construction and defense of the Fatherland in the period of renovation (from 1986 to present, orientation to 2030 and vision to 2045)" chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
The seminar listened to and discussed the contents of the presentation with the topic "Vietnam's Innovation Ecosystem, the role of the National Innovation Center in connecting and promoting the ecosystem" presented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung - Senior Expert on Research and Development of Innovation and Startup Ecosystem, Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Through the analysis of the picture of the Vietnamese Innovation Ecosystem, the speaker made many policy recommendations, such as designing transformative innovation policies to impact the transition from an innovation system to an innovation ecosystem. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung emphasized the application of Ho Chi Minh's thought in policy making, especially in human resource development, attracting talents, overseas Vietnamese; developing and encouraging young people to participate in startups; promoting the strengths of Vietnamese culture, the tradition of Loyalty - Trust - Righteousness.

Delegates attending the seminar also heard in-depth expert opinions on issues related to concepts, approaches, theoretical frameworks for research, application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on science and technology development and innovation from Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Lieu (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Associate Professor, Dr. Major General Nguyen Van The (Academy of Politics, Ministry of National Defense), Dr. Dinh Quang Thanh (HCM National Academy of Politics), Dr. Phan Thanh Hai (Academy of Journalism and Communication), etc.

Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Head of the project emphasized that Ho Chi Minh's works do not talk much about innovation, but in fact contain many ways of thinking, approaches and implementation methods that are very basic and profound. The issue of human beings is emphasized, especially people trained in basic sciences, emphasizing the achievements and talents of innovation as the most important.
The issues raised in the presentation of expert Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung raised direct, scientific and accurate issues about the set of concepts, tools, theoretical framework, approaches, methods and research techniques of Project KX.02.29/21-25 from the perspective of a scientist researching the innovation ecosystem in Vietnam.
The seminar is also a forum for exchanging and demonstrating similarities in the implementation of the research topic on "The set of concepts, tools, theoretical frameworks, approaches, research methods and techniques of the topic "Research, application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's ideology in science and technology development, innovation in the renovation period" from scientists in different fields, opening up many aspects for the topic to continue to exchange and research in the following seminars.

In 2024, within the framework of the research project KX.02.29/21-25, the Project Management Board will organize 03 workshops and 15 discussions, attracting the participation of scientists, managers, organizations, and enterprises at the central and local levels... In which, the workshops and discussions will discuss and unify the theoretical framework of the project; study the practical application of theoretical frameworks in localities, organizations, and enterprises; propose groups of breakthrough solutions of the project, etc.
