The series of activities commemorating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea took place from December 10th to December 17th, featuring many highlights such as a Korean writing contest on a specific theme, a "Golden Bell" quiz competition, and booths showcasing Korean culture (cuisine, calligraphy, Hanbok, traditional games, etc.). All activities received significant interest and participation from students majoring in Korean Studies in particular, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general.

The celebration, held on the morning of December 17th in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E, was honored with the presence of our esteemed sponsors: VTC Online Media Joint Stock Company, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd., King Sejong Academy Hanoi 1; distinguished guests: the Korea Foundation; lecturers from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA); representatives from the university leadership and functional departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; leaders, staff, and lecturers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; alumni of the Korean Studies major… Notably, the program attracted nearly 400 students.

As part of the special event marking 30 years of Vietnam-Korea relations, the KF-SAMSUNG Scholarship Fund awarded 15 scholarships to high-achieving students majoring in Korean Studies.
Fifteen outstanding students from the Korean Studies department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received the KF-SAMSUNG scholarship in 2022.

The celebration also included the final round of the "Golden Bell Challenge" competition, held in a lively, exciting, and engaging atmosphere. The awards ceremony for the writing and "Golden Bell Challenge" competitions was also held at the end of the celebration program. Through these competitions, students not only demonstrated their understanding of the relationship between Korea and Vietnam, and the country and people of Korea, but also honed their confidence and assertiveness.

Korean students studying in Korea are not only eager to learn but also very talented. They presented unique and diverse artistic performances, blending Vietnamese and Korean art. The dance "Soul of the Vietnamese Lotus" portrays the image of Vietnam and its people as both gentle and graceful, yet also warm, vibrant, and full of life.
The sweet voices of Korean students performing the song "Butterfly" concluded the program with a message to look towards a bright and shining future.
The series of activities commemorating "Three Decades: Walking Hand in Hand Towards the Future" has contributed to further strengthening the Vietnam-Korea relationship, reflecting on 30 years of cooperation and looking towards a bright future. At the same time, the program has helped to enhance the understanding of Korean studies students about the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea and affirmed the bridging mission of Korean studies in preserving and developing relations between the two countries.
