The Trade Union of Cluster 5 Universities donated 150 million VND to medical staff on the front line against the Covid-19 epidemic.

On the morning of July 9, 2021, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Health Trade Union, Ministry of Health, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 Universities (Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Trade Union of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Trade Union of National Economics University, Trade Union of University of Natural Sciences and Trade Union of University of Construction) donated 150 million VND to support the medical staff on the front line against the Covid-19 epidemic.

This is a practical and timely activity of the union members of the 5 University Union Cluster to show gratitude to the country's medical staff - the "white-shirt soldiers" who, regardless of difficulties and sacrifices, work day and night to perform their professional duties, treat patients, contribute to fighting the epidemic and ensure the safety and health of the people.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the School's Trade Union, on behalf of the University's Cluster 5 Trade Union, sent to the medical staff deep gratitude, feelings and shared their hardships. In the fight against the pandemic of humanity, they are the ones fighting on the front lines, with pioneering spirit and dedication to the hot spots of the epidemic. That self-sacrifice needs to be recognized, respected and supported by society. In the current difficult situation, the medical ethics of those working in the medical industry shine even more and are highly promoted. Joining hands with the medical industry and the whole country, the trade union members of Cluster 5 always want to contribute a part of material and spirit to this fight, together with the whole country to soon repel and defeat the epidemic.
