This is a practical and timely activity by union members of the cluster of 5 universities to express gratitude to the country's medical staff - the "white-coated soldiers" who, regardless of difficulties and sacrifices, work tirelessly day and night to perform their professional duties, treat patients, contribute to controlling the epidemic, and ensure the safety and health of the people.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the University's Trade Union - on behalf of the Trade Union of Cluster 5 Universities, expressed deep gratitude and shared feelings of understanding for the hardships faced by medical staff. In the fight against the global pandemic, they are the frontline fighters, pioneering and dedicated to areas at the epicenter of the outbreak. This selflessness deserves recognition, respect, and support from society. Especially in the current difficult circumstances, the medical ethics of those working in the healthcare sector shine even brighter and are highly valued. Joining hands with the healthcare sector and the entire country, the trade union members of Cluster 5 Universities always wish to contribute both materially and spiritually to this fight, working together with the nation to quickly overcome and defeat the pandemic.

On behalf of the Vietnamese healthcare staff, Associate Professor Pham Thanh Binh – President of the Vietnam Healthcare Workers' Union – expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the contributions of the union members from the cluster of 5 universities. Associate Professor Pham Thanh Binh expressed his hope that in the future, the Vietnam Healthcare Workers' Union and the cluster of 5 universities will have more opportunities to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and support each other in implementing union activities.

In addition to supporting frontline medical staff in the fight against the pandemic, the trade union of the cluster of 5 universities also actively contributed to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund through various means such as text messaging and each person donating at least one day's salary.
