Specifically for the first cohort of the Literature Specialized Class (graduating in May 2023), out of 42 students, there were 3 Second Prizes in the National Excellent Student Competition in Literature, 11 VNU Olympic prizes (2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes, and 2 Consolation Prizes in Literature; 2 Third Prizes in English); 10 Outstanding Young Person awards at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; and 16 students studying abroad in the USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Switzerland, etc., with scholarships ranging from 50% to 100%.

Specialized High School for Social Sciences and HumanitiesThe school is recruiting 170 students for 10th grade, including 66 for the Literature specialization, 35 for the History specialization, 35 for the Geography specialization, and 34 for the high-quality program. In the 2023 admissions period, the Specialized School for Social Sciences and Humanities received 1,579 applications for 10th grade, an increase of 496 applications compared to last year, resulting in an average competition ratio of 1/11.6.
According to the admissions regulations, candidates included in the selection list are those who have taken all four exams and have not violated the exam regulations. The score for each subject must be 4.0 or higher, and the score for the specialized subject must be 6.0 or higher. The school does not add priority points in the admissions process and does not offer direct admission.
For the high-quality class, candidates must meet the admission requirements, have participated in the 2023 entrance exam for specialized classes at the school but were not admitted to the specialized program, have a score of 4.0 or higher in each subject (including the specialized subject), and have registered for admission to the high-quality class according to the instructions.
The total admission score for the high-quality class is the sum of the scores in the three subjects: Literature, Mathematics, and English. The school will announce the admission results for the high-quality class after the results of the specialized classes are announced.
