The program took place this morning, January 30, 2026, on the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with the participation of over 400 students, their parents, and teachers from Hai An High School (Hai Phong), as well as teachers from various departments, faculties, and institutes of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
During the exchange, the students learned about the learning environment, culture, and development opportunities for VNU-USSH students, as well as information about the 28 training programs, admission methods, and career orientation.
Speaking at the career counseling program, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that the university currently has more than 500 staff, lecturers and researchers, of which about 85% have doctoral degrees and 25% hold professor and associate professor titles. This is a source of pride and an important foundation ensuring the quality of training and scientific research of the university.

Currently, 100% of the training programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have been accredited domestically, and many programs meet international accreditation standards. The university is currently offering 28 undergraduate programs with over 40 specializations; 30 master's programs and 22 doctoral programs, creating opportunities for students to continue their education at higher levels and pursue a long-term academic path.
In addition to education, the school focuses on building a dynamic and humane learning environment with a system of more than 30 student clubs operating in diverse fields, from culture and arts to academics and skills. Approximately 10% of the school's students are international students and trainees, contributing to a multicultural and integrated learning environment.

According to Dr. Hoang Van Quynh, Deputy Head of the Training and Student Affairs Department, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities currently implements various admission methods to facilitate candidates while ensuring fairness, transparency, and the quality of student intake.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - Deputy Head of the Training and Student Affairs Department, said that the program was organized to help students understand the learning opportunities and student support policies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, including more than 30 types of scholarships to encourage learning, sponsored scholarships, tuition fee exemptions and reductions, along with a system of clubs and diverse student activities, creating conditions for learners to develop comprehensively in the university environment.

Concluding the program, the delegation of teachers and students from Hai An High School visited the Tradition Room of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – a space preserving typical milestones about the history of its formation, development process, and core values that have shaped the identity of the University through many generations. Here, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the 80-year journey of building and maturing of a prestigious university with a rich tradition in the Vietnamese higher education system.
During the 2026 regular university admissions period, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized numerous admissions counseling activities in various provinces, cities, and high schools.
