The 2026 admissions and career guidance program series, themed "Understanding Yourself - Choosing the Right Profession - Taking the Right Direction," continues to feature the participation of leaders and specialists from the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), along with admissions and career guidance experts from training units of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
According to Professor Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao - Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, 2026 will be the second year that students take the high school graduation exam under the 2018 General Education Program, and many changes are expected in the admission methods of universities and colleges, as well as the skill requirements of each profession.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, participates in the Advisory Board of the Admissions and Career Guidance program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
In 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, will recruit students through three admission methods: Method 301 (Direct admission and priority admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training); Method 401 (Admission based on valid HSA aptitude test results of Vietnam National University, Hanoi); and Method 100 (Admission based on high school graduation exam results) for 28 training programs.
At the consultation desk, faculty and students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities directly provided information on the new points in the 2026 regular university admissions process, admission plans, information on the university's training programs, and advice on choosing suitable majors based on abilities, strengths, and the development trends of the labor market in the context of digital transformation.
 
Information about the training programs offered by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has attracted the attention of many candidates in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.
In the coming period, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, plans to continue participating in the 2026 admissions and career guidance program organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in many provinces and cities. In addition, faculty and students from the university will also visit high school students in Hanoi to provide direct advice on this year's regular university entrance exams.
Students should note the schedule for the 2026 college admissions and career guidance program in various localities:
- January 24-25, 2026: in Phu Tho and Ninh Binh;
- March 8, 2026: in Hanoi;
