On the afternoon of March 30, 2026, a conference was held in Cao Bang province to review the implementation of Project No. 01-DA/TU dated December 4, 2025, of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee on organizing a series of activities to commemorate the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to directly lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 - January 28, 2026). Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, represented the university at the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Hai Hoa - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province - emphasized the particularly important significance of President Ho Chi Minh's return to the Fatherland and his direct leadership of the Vietnamese revolution at Pac Bo in the spring of 1941. This was a pivotal historical milestone, opening up strategic decisions of epochal significance, laying the foundation for the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 and the subsequent stages of national development.
The conference also affirmed that the issuance and implementation of Project No. 01-DA/TU by the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee not only has profound political, historical, and cultural significance, but also contributes to connecting traditional sources, consolidating ideological foundations, arousing national pride, and fostering aspirations for development in the new context.
