Professor, Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered the opening remarks for the program.
This is a large-scale annual event that not only provides admissions information and career guidance for students but also creates a bridge for learners to directly access recruitment agencies, understand labor market requirements, and proactively build their future career development path.
At the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), stated that the USSH Open Day 2026 program targets high school students in Hanoi to provide admissions counseling and guidance on choosing suitable majors. For undergraduate and postgraduate students, this is an opportunity to shape and choose careers amidst the significant changes in the labor market. Simultaneously, the program also aims to connect domestic and international organizations and businesses, strengthening the link between the university and employers.

Emphasizing the objectives of the job fair, Vice Rector Dang Hong Son stated that the important thing is not only the number of students who find jobs right at the event, but also helping students understand what they need to improve in terms of knowledge, skills, and qualities to adapt to the increasingly high demands of the labor market.
According to statistics for the 2024-2025 academic year, the employment rate for graduates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is approximately 90%, with many alumni holding important positions in agencies, organizations, and businesses both domestically and internationally.
Sharing their thoughts at the event, many students expressed particular interest in the business networking activities. Nguyen Thu Ha, a final-year student in the Faculty of Tourism Studies, said that the Job Fair provided an opportunity for students to directly interact with employers and better understand the practical requirements of the job. Through this, she realized that she needs to continue improving her professional skills, especially practical skills and foreign languages.
Meanwhile, Tran Minh Duc, a third-year student in the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies, shared: "The seminars on career trends and the impact of artificial intelligence are very useful. This information helps students gain a more comprehensive understanding of the labor market, thereby proactively preparing for the future."
The USSH Open Day 2026 program attracted more than 5,000 students, trainees, and businesses/employers.
Dr. Dinh Tien Hieu, Head of the Training and Student Affairs Department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), stated: "Every month, the university invites businesses to exchange and share information with students, thereby understanding their thoughts, aspirations, and needs. In reality, the university's students have a solid professional foundation; however, their soft skills need further improvement to be more flexible and relevant to the demands of society."
In its curriculum adjustment strategy, the school focuses on developing soft skills, ensuring that students not only possess professional knowledge and foreign language skills but are also equipped with essential life skills to adapt quickly to the labor market, such as digital skills and communication skills. This will better meet the needs of the market and the expectations of employers.

In the coming years, the school is committed to continuing to train human resources who are both politically sound and professionally competent, while also focusing on cultivating social skills in a context of many changes.
Furthermore, in its restructuring strategy, the school aims to strengthen interdisciplinary training, enabling students to take on various job positions without being limited to a single specialization. The school focuses on equipping students with foundational knowledge and methodologies, creating conditions for graduates to flexibly meet the demands of the labor market.
According to Mr. Dinh Viet Phuong, Director of 3D Art Design Consulting and Technology Solutions Company, in the last 3-5 years, the company has recruited many suitable personnel who are graduates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

According to him, for positions such as project management, the requirement is to have in-depth professional knowledge related to heritage and museology. This is also a strength of the school's students, as they have access to systematic and in-depth training during their studies, as well as opportunities for practical internships. Thanks to this, students have a good skill foundation and can quickly adapt and apply their knowledge to the job.
Mr. Dinh Viet Phuong also assessed that the job fair is an opportunity for businesses to access high-quality human resources. Especially for students who do not have much experience in the recruitment environment, the event helps them gradually overcome barriers, hone their skills, and become more confident when entering the labor market.
In addition to the event itself, the USSH Open Day program also includes a series of 15 talk shows taking place from March 26th to 29th, focusing on practical topics such as: interview and job application skills for recent graduates; job opportunities in the context of artificial intelligence; career trends in journalism and media; and the changes in the labor market under the impact of new technologies.
