In response to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on November 9th, and in implementation of the Youth Union's work plan and youth movement for the 2023-2024 academic year, on November 11th, 2023, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, successfully organized the competition: "Law on Electronic Identification and Online Public Services".
The competition aims to widely disseminate and promote legal regulations on electronic identification and online public services, thereby creating consensus among young people, especially students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, to actively participate in and use the VNeID application and online public services in their daily transactions. In addition, the competition creates a useful forum and platform for students to exchange ideas on issues related to electronic identification and online public services, helping students improve their awareness of compliance with the law in general and the law on electronic identification and online public services in particular.
The competition attracted a large number of participating teams from affiliated Youth Union branches and sub-branches. The judging panel consisted of: Comrade Nguyen Quoc Quy – Secretary of the Youth Union of Thanh Xuan Trung Ward Police, Master Pham Van Hue – Deputy Head of the Training Department of the School, and Master Mai Mai – Member of the Standing Committee of the School's Youth Union.
The competing teams went through two rounds of competition: a general knowledge test and a creativity round. After a period of serious and effective work, the competition's judging panel selected five outstanding teams for the following award categories:
1. Award for the most knowledgeable team: Student Union of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language
2. Creative Team Award: Student Union of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities
3. Award for Most Impressive Presentation Team: Philosophy Faculty Student Union
4. Talent Team Award: Student Union of the Faculty of International Studies
5. Promising Team Award: Student Union of the Faculty of Management Science
