To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Government's Decree on the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2023) and the 117th anniversary of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's Traditional Day (1906-2023), held at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Urban Area (Hoa Lac), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, created an exhibition space with the theme of Confucianism and Confucian-based education in Vietnam. This activity was jointly implemented by the Museum of Anthropology, the Faculty of Literature, and the Department of Scientific Research Management.
The exhibition space not only showcases a collection of images and artifacts about classrooms, examination halls, costumes, and school supplies of ancient Confucian scholars, but is particularly impressive with the hands-on activity of printing rubbings of Chinese characters by the Museum of Anthropology, alongside the calligraphy writing activity of teachers and students of the Faculty of Literature. The calligraphy products and ancient and modern artifacts are carefully selected, imbued with a strong humanistic spirit.

In addition, the booth also has space to display and introduce photographs of horizontal plaques and couplets in Chinese characters, which are products of research on Confucianism and Chinese-Vietnamese characters by faculty and students of the Faculty of Literature and the Faculty of History. These have been practically applied to consulting projects on the construction of horizontal plaques and couplets in Chinese characters at key historical sites such as the Tran Dynasty Royal Temple (Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh); and the Royal Academy (Temple of Literature - National University, Hanoi).
Practical activities, calligraphy exchanges, woodblock printing, etc., carried out by staff and students of the Han Nom Studies Department and the Museum of Anthropology attracted attention and left a positive impression on a large number of guests, scientists, staff, lecturers, and students from Hanoi National University and many other units.

Students from the History and Literature departments are practicing calligraphy and woodblock printing right in the exhibition space.

Professor Nguyen Van Khanh (former Rector of the University) and Associate Professor Pham Quang Long (former Rector of the University) visited the VNU-USSH exhibition booth.
The Board of Directors of VNU Hanoi visited and highly appreciated the ideas and products that VNU-USSH brought to the exhibition space during the grand celebration of VNU Hanoi.
The VNU-USSH exhibition space always attracts the attention of a large number of students and teachers.
These valuable images and documents, imbued with the spirit of "learning from the past to understand the present," honor the school's and the nation's scholarly traditions, have helped the public, especially the younger generation, students, and pupils, to better understand Confucianism and the Confucian examination system in Vietnamese history, thereby fostering appreciation, preservation, and conservation of the nation's cultural heritage.
Many outstanding scientific research projects, conference proceedings, and international articles published in prestigious international journals by the university's faculty in 2023 are also on display.
