That is the theme that delegates approved for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year, at the Conference of Civil Servants and Public Employees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The conference took place on July 10, 2015 in Ninh Binh. Attending the conference were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Vice President of VNU; Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Van Huong, Chairman of VNU Trade Union; representatives of departments and offices of VNU; Associate Professor Dr. Phung Huu Phu, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Long, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang, former Presidents of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities through the periods, along with the University Board of Directors and 165 delegates, representing more than 500 civil servants and public employees of the entire university.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Secretary, Vice Principal of the School) is presenting the summary report of the 2014-2015 school year and the direction and tasks for the 2015-2016 school year.

After the opening session, the conference listened to the summary report of the 2014-2015 school year and the direction and tasks for the 2015-2016 school year presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Party Secretary and Vice Principal of the School.

This year's summary report specifically stated the results achieved in all aspects of the School's activities in the 2014-2015 school year as follows: Regarding training activities, the first round of regular university entrance exams were successfully organized in the form of competency assessment exams; High-quality training programs in Linguistics and Psychology were opened and students were recruited into the Hotel Management program; the project to open Library Science and Religious Studies was completed; and training of 3 new majors was implemented: PhD in Religious Studies, Master of Vietnamese Cultural History, and Vietnamese Studies; The scale of doctoral enrollment increased by 11.2%; Social Sciences and Humanities magazine was established; Additional revenue for the 2014-2015 school year increased by 11% compared to the previous school year.

Regarding scientific research activities, the University is implementing 16 State-level projects, 18 Nafosted fund projects, 05 provincial and city-level projects, 37 VNU-level projects, 08 University staff are assigned to be in charge of projects/books under the project "Research and compilation of Vietnamese History"; announcing and publishing 21 textbooks, specialized books and reference books, publishing 429 articles in scientific journals, seminars and scientific forums; organizing 25 scientific seminars/conferences, including 15 international seminars/conferences.

In addition to summarizing the results achieved, the report also focuses on emphasizing the directions, tasks and main solutions that need to be implemented in the next school year, the 2015-2016 school year with the theme: Dynamic - Creative - Quality - Pioneer. This is the content that attracted the participation and comments of many delegates, scientists as well as the attention and direction of the leaders of VNU.

Issues related to the 2014 financial activities of the University were also reported by Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal of the University) to the conference. Last year, the financial activities of the University had many bright spots, which were highly appreciated by the State inspection and examination delegations and VNU.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Principal of the School) is presenting a report on building the School towards a research university.

At the meeting, the conference also listened to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Principal of the University) present a report on building the University towards a research university. According to the statistics of the contents according to the assessment criteria, the total score of the University is 625/1000 points, basically achieving the important criteria in the orientation to become a research university. Accordingly, the report also outlined the goal that by 2020, the University will achieve the standards of a research university according to the guideline 1206 of VNU (April 23, 2013) and by 2025, the University will achieve the standards of a research university in the world.

On behalf of the leaders of VNU, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai (Vice President of VNU) highly appreciated the achievements of the University in the past school year, and welcomed the directions that the University has determined for the next school year 2015-2016. In his speech, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai also expressed his pride "If there is any unique point that VNU can introduce and "show off" to the outside, then those points, mostly come from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities".

Delegates vote to elect the People's Inspectorate.

After the discussion session, the conference also voted to elect the People's Inspection Committee for the 2015-2017 term, consisting of 5 comrades: Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh (Faculty of Philosophy), Comrade Phung Thi Kim Oanh (Principal), Comrade Dinh Van Nam (Principal), Comrade Trinh Van Bang (Faculty of History) and Comrade Tran Thi Quang Hoa (Faculty of Political Science).

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Principal of the School) gave a speech to summarize the conference.

In his closing speech at the conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh emphasized a number of key issues that need attention in the coming time:

- Complete projects to open new majors and majors according to the roadmap to innovate the training organization of existing programs, standardize high-quality training in accordance with new regulations. Invest in building and developing learning materials, continue to innovate training methods, testing and evaluation.

- Well organize and implement the Social Sciences and Humanities Journal; complete existing State-level topics, focus on developing and implementing a number of new topics under the Northwest program and Nafosted fund; promote solutions to increase international publications, especially publications with high impact index (ISI and Scopus).

- Implement well the regulations on decentralization of management and management operation procedures in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

- Continue to expand international joint training with many different types; complete the assessment of the School's quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Oriental Studies industry according to AUN standards, organize the assessment of high-quality training programs.
