Welcome to new Vietnamese and international students 2026 - "Autumn Moon Reunion"

On the evening of September 24, 2026, at the Vietnam Puppet Theatre, the Faculty of Linguistics and Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi, organized the "Welcome to Vietnamese and International New Students 2026" program, welcoming new students of cohort K71 and international students of the 2026 cohort.

The program provided an opportunity for new members of the Faculty to meet, get acquainted, and create lasting memories on their university journey. Here, the new students listened to welcoming remarks and sharing from the Faculty Party Committee and Board of Directors, and witnessed the moment of honoring the top-scoring students of the 2026 intake.

In particular, the program provided freshmen with a unique cultural and artistic experience at the Vietnam Puppet Theatre. Through puppet performances, students discovered a traditional art form rich in national identity. Stories told through images, sounds, and the movements of the puppets created an atmosphere that was both familiar and novel, contributing to memorable moments at the reunion.

"Autumn Moon Reunion" also took place in the atmosphere of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi University (1956-2026) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Linguistics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (1996-2026). Amidst a tradition continued through many generations, Class of 71 officially began writing its own story.

We wish you a journey filled with experiences, discoveries of new things, the meeting of fellow students, and the creation of memorable student years at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi.
