A journey of love called "UP".

The "UP" 2026 Volunteer Library Project is an annual project implemented by the Faculty of Information Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, since 2015, with the aim of bringing books and reading spaces closer to students, especially those in areas that still need more resources to support learning materials and reading activities. Beyond simply donating books, the project also aims to build reading habits, awaken a love of knowledge, and create more motivation for learning among students.

As part of the closing ceremony at Tan Lien Secondary School, the project donated over 4,420 books to the school. These are not just books, but also represent the affection, sharing, and belief that teachers, sponsors, and volunteer students send to the students.

One of the highlights of the UP 2026 Volunteer Library Project is its spirit of concrete and practical action. Over 4,420 donated books will contribute to enriching learning resources, supporting schools in building friendly reading spaces, and enabling students to access knowledge more regularly.

The project donated 4420 books to Tan Lien Secondary School.

Each book donated opens up a learning opportunity. Through each page, students can explore the world, cultivate self-learning abilities, develop reading habits, and nurture beautiful dreams. With that in mind, the "UP" Volunteer Library Project not only donates books but also instills faith in the power of knowledge.

Besides donating books, the program also awarded 10 gifts to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and 3 gifts to students with particularly difficult circumstances who have strived to excel in their studies. This activity demonstrates a profound sense of humanity, contributing to motivating the students to continue to try their best, be confident, and excel in their studies.

“UP” – From a journey of volunteerism to a beautiful message

The name "UP" not only evokes the charitable journeys that have been undertaken, but also embodies the spirit of upward striving: towards knowledge, towards positive values, and towards the community. In this journey, each book is a gift of knowledge; each gift is an encouragement; each volunteer activity is a way for young people to demonstrate social responsibility.

From university lecture halls to Tan Lien Secondary School, from carefully preserved books to the smiles of students, the UP 2026 Volunteer Library Project has left a beautiful mark of connection, sharing, and service to the community.

For the students of Tan Lien Secondary School, the donated books will become close companions in their studies and lives. Reading helps them learn better, gain more knowledge, nurture their dreams, and build confidence in the future. Each page opened can be a new door helping them go further on the path of knowledge.

The closing ceremony of the "UP" 2026 Volunteer Library Project, held on May 23-24, 2026, was not only an opportunity to review the achievements but also a chance to affirm the significance of volunteer activities linked to education, reading culture, and community development.

With the message "A Journey of Love," the UP 2026 Volunteer Library Project has spread a simple yet profound value: when books are given away, knowledge is shared; when love is connected, dreams are nurtured and continue to grow.
