Students from the 09 Basic Sciences majors at VNU-USSH continue to receive the Talent Attraction Scholarship.

The scholarship policy applies to students of the 9 basic science majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, including: Literature, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, Vietnamese Studies, Linguistics, and Sino-Vietnamese Studies.
The companionship and support from the school and various organizations and businesses.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the university will continue to award 45 scholarships to students in 9 basic science majors, with an estimated funding of 20 million VND per scholarship per year. In addition, students will be given priority consideration for other scholarships with higher support levels if they meet the requirements, and will be assigned a scientific mentor, participate in scientific research, and engage in experiential activities throughout their studies.
This scholarship policy supports students in basic science fields with the aim of attracting talent and developing high-quality human resources for the country in the social sciences and humanities.
The process of reviewing and awarding scholarships to full-time students in 09 basic science majors will be applied from the QH-2022-X enrollment cohort onwards.
It is known that during the three academic years from 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025, the school used its budget of over 3.2 billion VND to provide scholarships to attract talent for students in 9 basic science majors.
Besides funding from the university's budget, the scholarship fund receives support from organizations and businesses such as: SHB Bank's scholarship, the Dao Minh Quang Scholarship Fund, the Danko Scholarship, and FSI Investment, Trading and Technology Development Joint Stock Company. These organizations and businesses have been partners with the university and generations of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi for many years.
In addition, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, also implements many scholarship programs for students, including academic achievement scholarships from the university and scholarships from many domestic and international organizations and individuals.

Eligibility requirements for the Talent Attraction Scholarship
Accordingly, scholarships will be awarded to the following categories of students:
For students applying for entrance scholarships based on their admission results, the following conditions must be met:
- Achieved high results in the entrance examination (or selection process) for the above-mentioned science majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities according to the University's admission methods such as: direct admission, priority admission, admission based on international certificates, aptitude tests, high school graduation exam results, etc., and confirmed enrollment.
- Achieved a "Good" conduct rating and a "Good" or higher academic performance rating in all three years of high school.
For students from the first semester of their first year onwards, the following conditions must be met:
- Students who have been selected for the Talent Attraction Scholarship for basic science disciplines, have achieved an academic GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have received a "Good" rating in their conduct during the scholarship selection process.
- No disciplinary action during the semester for which the scholarship is being considered.
- Academic results for the scholarship application period must not have any subject graded below 8.0 (on a 10-point scale) or below a B+ (on a letter grade).
- In the semester for which the scholarship is being considered, students must complete a minimum of 15 credits (excluding courses such as Physical Education, National Defense and Security Education, etc.).
For students in their third year and beyond, participation in scientific research activities is required, along with supporting evidence.
Decision on the promulgation of regulations on criteria for awarding scholarships to attract talent in basic science fields.
